Directions to English-Language Meetings

 All directions are by U-Bahn (subway) from the center of the city.
You can also go by taxi - just write the street address down
and give it to the driver. Taxis in Munich are safe and reliable.

Monday: Oberländerstrasse 36, to the left side in the driveway.
Take the U-Bahn - subway - U3 (towards Fürstenried West) or U6 (towards Klinikum Grosshadern), get off at Implerstrasse and leave the platform level via the exit at the end of the platform in the direction of the train you just departed; go up the escalator, turn right and take the stairs that lead up to Oberländerstrasse. Walk up the street which is already Oberländerstrasse to No 36. Turn right into driveway and follow the AA signs. Estimated walking time from U-Bahn station is about 3 minutes. Please note that this meeting is not held on bank holidays as the building is closed.

Tuesday, Thursday:  Selbsthilfezentrum at Westendstr. 68
Take the U-Bahn - subway - U4/U5 (towards Laimer Platz) getting off at Schwanthalerhöhe stop. Exit from the Ganghoferstr. end and then go left on Ganghofer to Westendstrasse. The meeting is at the Self Help Zentrum at Westendstr. 68. You can also take Tram 18 or 19 stopping at Schrenkstrasse, 4 stops
from the hauptbahnhof (Main train station). Look for the signs in the lobby.
Please note that these meetings are not held on bank holidays as the building is closed.

Wednesday & Friday: Kaulbachstrasse 33, Schwabing
Take the U-Bahn - subway - U3 (towards Olympiazentrum) or U6 (towards Garching-Hochbrück), get off at Universität and leave the platform level via the staircase at the end of the platform in the same direction as the train you just departed. Go up the escalator, take a right, up the next escalator and leave the building taking a left. Follow the street taking a slight curve and turn left into Veterinärstrasse, down one block, take a right into Kaulbachstrasse and follow the street till you get to No. 33 (there's an Italian Restaurant in front); turn right into the building through the glass doors and follow the AA signs all the way to the back. Estimated walking time from U-Bahn station about 3 minutes.  Members frequently meet both before and after the meetings in the restaurant.

Saturday, Sunday: St Bonifaz Church, Karlstrasse 34
Take the U-Bahn - subway - U2 (towards Feldmoching) to Königsplatz; ride towards the rear of the train. Exit at the end opposite the direction your train was headed; at the top of the escalator turn left and take the exit for Karlstrasse. You will emerge in a brick shelter. Turn left at the street and 30m ahead of you on the left you'll see a church. Turn left at the church gates and follow the path to the end, bearing right. Enter the monastery and turn left. Ask the Klosterpforte (attendant), behind the glass window, to buzz you in. Just follow the signs.
